Getting ready for my walk today! Can you see I was so eager to go that I was the first out the door!

Mommy didn't fix my eyes in photoshop! Don't I look like a French Bulldog with my ears like this? Mommy and Daddy are thinking of getting a lil' Frenchie sister for me....I think I might be jealous though.

How horrible. Rat poison was found in pet food blamed for the deaths of at least 17 cats and dogs, but scientists say they still don't know how it got there and predicted more animal deaths would be linked to it. Please read about it more on Le Pug's site.

Mommy was washing her duvet cover and I couldn't help but jump right in the middle of the softness and fell asleep. Mommy wasn't too impressed because now she has to wash the duvet along with the cover and I wasn't too impressed because she woke me up from my slumber.

Sniff sniff. Mommy is helping her friend plan a wedding and these are the gold chair covers they'll be using for their reception. It's not done up correctly on the chair but it has my approval because my hair will disappear in the fabric. Arf Arf!

Excerpts from a Cat's Daily Diary:

Day 683 of my captivity: My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear,I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength. The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the floor.
Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a "good little hunter" I am. The audacity!
There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of "allergies." I must learn what this means, and how to use it to my advantage.Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs.I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released -and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded! The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicating with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe.......for now!

I got to meet Auntie Linda's baby for the very first time today. This was a big deal for Mommy and Daddy because they want her and I get get a long. She is 3 months old and her name is Emma. I was only a bit jealous in the beginning but I was ok for the rest of her stay. When she cried, I would bark because I don't like anything high pitched but then when I barked, she would get scared and cry more. But it was ok in then end, we started to like each other. I even let her sit on me!

I hope she visits me more often! I can even teach her a few tricks!

I went for a walk in my booties today. I hated the boots but Mommy says they protect my paws....I still don't like them. Arf Arf!

Chewing on Maddy's bone. When I come visit him, I like to search for the bones he's hidden and chew on them. I think he doesn't like it when I do that but I'm older and I'm the boss.

This is my cousin Madyxx. He likes to play with me all the time but I get bored of him quickly.

I had a play date with Murphy today.

Murphy is a shitzu that likes to hump my face.

Murphy is 4 months old and I'm 3 years old. We both like looking cute and innocent so we can get treats from our human pets.

Murphy likes to tug on my leash, but I was not impressed.

But Murphy and I are good friends now.

When Grandma cooks Vietnamese pho noodles, she gives me the cow bones that she uses to make the broth with for me to chew! Yum Yum.
